Moving house help and support

Let us know when you're moving home. Whether you’re an existing Share Energy customer or hoping to join at your new property, we're here to help.

You'll need to speak us in person. Give us a call on 0808 304 9870 and have the following information to hand:

• Your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) or Keypad Premise Number (KPRN) 

• Your bank account details (if you're choosing to set up a Direct Debit)

• Final and opening meter reads (if your property has a bill pay meter)

• Your moving-in date and new property address

Phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Calls are recorded for training and quality purposes.

We'll need you to provide your forwarding address and a final meter read as well as a picture of that read for our records.

We'll also need your landlord to contact us directly to confirm the account can be moved into their name.

We'll issue your final bill within five days of confirming that you've moved out. Please note that your account won’t close with us until you've paid the final balance.

If your circumstances have changed and you're no longer moving, give us a call on 0808 304 9870 and we'll cancel the move.

If you have tenants moving out - or new ones moving in - ask them to call us on 0808 304 9870

We'll ask you to complete a short form, provide your most recent meter reading, as well as a picture of that read for our records.
