Big News: We’re now an official Living Wage Employer!
We’re buzzing to share that Share Energy is now an officially accredited Living Wage Employer!
While we’ve always paid our team the real Living Wage or above, getting that official stamp of approval means a lot. It shows we’re serious about doing right by people — not just through fair prices and profit-sharing, but by making sure our team is properly valued too.
“Fairness is in our DNA,” says Damian, our CEO. “We already paid the real Living Wage, but getting accredited is our way of saying loud and clear: treating people well is non-negotiable. That’s what better business looks like.”
Around 20% of workers in Northern Ireland earn below the real Living Wage — and we think that’s 20% too many. We’re proud to be part of a movement of employers making work more sustainable, one payslip at a time.
The real Living Wage is the only rate in the UK based on what it actually costs to live — not just minimums set by government.
At Share, we’re not just rethinking energy. We’re rethinking how business should be done.
Let’s keep raising the bar.
